-Inpyo Eric Hong,
is a professional flutist, a flute repair technician, and a flute maker. He first learned how to repair flute in 1997 at a flute repair shop, Altus Flute Korea, while pursuing a degree on flute performance at Sangmyung University in Seoul.
After completing his studies, Hong continued work as a flute and piccolo technician at Altus flute Korea. During this period, he acquired knowledge on the different features of each flute.
In 2009, he began work at the renowned flute maker Burkart Flute & Piccolo, which joining it was his life-long dream.
Here, Hong continued honing his expertise at flute repair while specializing in finishing flute and piccolo. Today, Hong's aspirations are to meet and serve more flute players who share the same passion in flute and piccolos. He wants to give back his wonderful skills and talents he spent many years investing in.
